You can save edited strokes for use within the current document or among several documents.
To save a stroke:
1 | From the Stroke panel Options pop-up menu, choose Save Stroke As. |
2 | In the Save Stroke dialog box, enter a name for the stroke and click OK. |
The stroke name is added to the stroke name pop-up menu for use within the document. | |

To reuse a saved stroke in another document:
1 | Copy an object with the saved stroke. |
2 | Paste the object into the other document. |

To rename a stroke:
1 | Deselect all objects. |
2 | Choose the stroke from the Stroke panel. |
3 | Choose Rename Stroke from the Option pop-up menu. |
4 | In the Rename Stroke dialog box, type a name for the stroke or the fill, and click OK. |

To delete a stroke:
1 | Choose the stroke from the Stroke panel. |
2 | From the Option pop-up menu, choose Delete Stroke. |
